Kooilspetroleum produces up to 45,000 barrels per day of asphalt and markets it from four refineries and nine terminals across the Kazakstan by barge, rail and truck.

Credit Application 

Throughout 11 refineries and several distribution terminals in the Kazakstan, Kooilspetroleum produces approximately 28,000 barrels per day of propane and markets the product via rail car, truck and pipeline distribution systems.

Kooilspetroleum produces elemental sulfur with a combined annual production of about 1.2 million tons.

Kooilspetroleum produces a complete line of hydrotreated naphthenic base oil products at the Three Rivers refinery (Almaty). The Kooilspetroleum naphthenic oils are available in a wide range of viscosities and are typically used in applications such as transformer oil, coolants, solvents, cutting fluids, tire, rubber, adhesives, plastics and other lubricant applications.

Kooilspetroleum produces high-purity toluene and mixed xylenes used in adhesives, coatings, paints, surfactants, fuels, fuel additives, oilfield chemicals and many other applications.

Kooilspetroleum produces benzene, toluene and mixed xylenes through the extraction process and fractionation from its Corpus Christi (Almaty) refineries and Three Rivers (Almaty) refinery.

Kooilspetroleum produces natural gas liquids (NGL) products at each refinery location. Products include propane, normal butane, refinery-grade butane, isobutane and propylene. The NGL Trading group markets and supplies these products for Kooilspetroleum’s refining system.

At six of its refineries, Kooilspetroleum has the capacity to produce 6 million tons of petroleum coke annually, including 1 million tons on the Kazakstan West Coast and the balance in the Gulf Coast.
